Piles of used MLRS cluster carriers are still to be seen in Kharkiv, where they have been landing for months. People of Ukraine are laughing at your “Russia becoming serious”, because Russia had been as serious as it could be from the very beginning, ending up in strategic defense after it used up most of its reserves.

German invasion on its ally USSR (“Operation Barbarossa”) started on 22 June.

That's what I suspected you are referring to — but "terminator gene" was one patent that was never actually rolled out into any seeds, and the place where it kind of exists are Greenpeace scare stories ;)

Is it an actual practice at all (no idea), and if yes, is it exclusive to GMO seeds? Because if seeds are sterilised, how do they grow at all?

Azov has officially denounced neo-Nazi ideology and admitted that maybe 10-20% of their members do share these views, but it's their private matter. That's about 200 people in army of 200'000 soldiers.
To put that in context, there's a openly neo-Nazi subdivision in Wagner group (Russia), a group of neo-Nazis was in 2018 discovered by journalists among high German army officers, and in the US neo-Nazi symbolics and public marches are protected under First Amendment.

Granted that Russia occupied Poland from 1792-1918, tried (and failed) in 1920 and once again from 1939-1989, the sentiment is somehow justified. Other than that, Poles and Russians love to whine blaming others for their failures, so it's quite convenient. Granted however that Poland last occupied Russia in 1612, the blame is slightly more justified on the Polish side ;)
