   Does anyone have more information about the rumour that the #G7 are planning a "#NATO" lite for Ukraine (funding, intel sharing, logistics, economic help...)?

   If true this would be great news and signal to #russia that they cannot simply hope that Western resolve and support for #Ukraine will collapse.

     FYI, Russia has been using cluster munitions from the spring 2022. Piles of used MLRS cluster carriers are still to be seen in Kharkiv, where they have been landing for months. People of Ukraine are laughing at your “Russia becoming serious”, because Russia had been as serious as it could be from the very beginning, ending up in strategic defense after it used up most of its reserves.

     it means instead of only using 8% of its airforce then it could more and join the escalation with perhaps even using the same cluster bombs Ukraine has recieved which Russia is not using, it could mean many other things that Russia has stayed away from because they Want peace and de-escalation, it is the west and in particular Ukraine who is trying to escalate very hard with longer range missiles that could hit moscow in matter of 5 min

     @RedCore not during the active conflict anyway.

     Whilst NATO membership for Ukraine would be great "after" the war it is far more important to set up long term support and a strategy for, let's say, the next 5 years at least.

     To ensure that russia's assumption that they can outlast the support is not feasible for them.

     But you also say that the war will drag on for a very long time and this will eventually work like a cold war, unless ofc Ukraine manage to succed escalating to a point were Russia will become very serious, remember they are showing restraith cause they do want oeace, but they want conditions that are closer to the reality of the battlefield

     I think they are setting up a light nato, but remember its still not nato membership wich Ukraine will never get, unless world war 3 and nukes

     @RedCore @t_mkdf If Russia wants peace and de-escalation they can leave Ukraine and return to the borders agreed upon by Yeltsin and Kuchma.
