@gargron You don't destroy GnuSocial but you are destroying the idea of a federated network. A federation works only with partners and with compromises - if someone of the partner looks only for own goals federation can't work.
I just lost several mastodon accounts which I can't read any more. If you think this is really "a better" solution - I don't agree. @taknamay

@kro Again and again: An instance is made by an admin in his spare time on his server and as a grassroots project. So he/she can write his/her TOS and users who register there can accept it or are can go find an other instance. And you can install your own instance if you are not comfortable with any TOS.When you writing about quitter - it^'s only one instance in the whole !gnusocial network - and until now every instance can join. So I don't really understand this annoying talk about "free speech". @taknamay @dtluna
@lotus When @hannes2peer restarts the server or changes something for some seconds - this is really not a bug. You have to understand that all !gnusocial servers are maintained and supported by volunteers and they spend their time for this and the project !gnusocial is still going on.Â
@simsa0 1) !Gnusocial is the technical platform. The content is given by users. So when "poetry, dance" isn't discussed further, this is really not the fault of !gnusocial. Politics and religion are not very good topics for social media platforms.
2) If people are not willing to learn something new and if they think !gnusocial is exactly a copy of twitter then this isn't the fault of !gnusocial.
Nobody is forced to come to !gnusocial - everybody is free to choose the platform.
@mmn A huge thank you – with your great help the nasty error after the upgrade to 1.2.0-beta3 is found and fixed and my instance runs now like (or almost) "speed of light" – great! !gnusocialÂ
