Maybe this will stop working when I get around to upgrading to !GNUsocial -

Despite all his anti-capitalist rhetoric, he still adheres to the notions of competition and market share. -
Former Bob Jonkman -- Please use the new server at https://gs.jonkman.ca (bobjonkmanformer@sn.jonkman.ca)'s status on Saturday, 07-Jan-2017 00:09:42 UTC Former Bob Jonkman -- Please use the new server at https://gs.jonkman.ca Yup, no HTTPS on sn.jonkman.ca. This instance was set up well before LetsEncrypt was available, and !GNUsocial (and !StatusNet before it) don't take well to changing the URL scheme. So, either I keep the groups and it stays HTTP or I switch to HTTPS and lose the groups. I opt for the former. -

Killed my !StatusNet daemons, had to #KickTheDaemons. Sorry for the interrupted service. !SysAdmin #Fail. -

Even though I selected different !Listening groups from the drop-down list, the links on that message all point to the one on http://sn.theru.org/index.php/group/179/id I'm gonna have to upgrade my !StatusNet to !GNUsocial so I can properly participate in bug hunting... -

Is this a known problem between !gnusocial and !statusnet instances? http://social.gtalug.org/notice/140 -

@mcscx@quitter.se (mcscx@quitter.se)'s status on Wednesday, 08-Oct-2014 17:08:41 UTC @mcscx@quitter.se @cinnamonswirl … but better sub to !SN !StatusNet !GNUsocial. I was merely guessing. I don't have pratice experience with federation. -

But some Twitter clients have dropped support for Twitter API 1.0, and so can no longer be used with !SN. I don't know if !GNUsocial implements a Twitter-like API 1.1 -
