Wrote a 23kb implementation of the Varvara emulator in plain X11(without SDL2). It's lightning fast, I think this might just become my goto #uxn emulator.

@mathr A lot of the uxn programs are supporting low resolution. I write a lot of basic tools for the GBA resolution which is 240 × 160 pixels.

320 pixels wide should do fine :)

@mathr the mouse implementation seems to be fast enough to be usable! That means that noodle, the calculator and all sorts of other tools will now work on the amiga! Well done Claude :uxn:

@mathr that's so cool, that means we can create all sorts of little gui tools for the amiga. That means that Donsol will also work.

It's nice to imagine that the same rom file works both on the gba, dos and on the amiga!

@CosmicTortoise I ended up thinking about him after flipping through Thinking Forth, I don't know many examples of things that are visually inclined to teach programmatic things.

@CosmicTortoise starting forth is better in my opinion, but I just like that someone was both a programmer and artist and took it upon himself to bring people into that world.

@rostiger little mistake: The A key button is the first bit so #01, the B button is the second bit.

Everything about forth is interesting coming from 6502. Asm makes you realize that programs can be simple, forth makes you realize that programs can be simple, but also have their source code readable.

Uxn is basically the best of both world, near 1:1 bytecode from forth.
