@clacke And like the other pseudo-ethnological terms they have it also really feels like Americans being blatantly uncultured about Europe.
At least to me Caucasian should be just a vague demonym for people in the Caucasus region which is a part of the limit between Europe and Asia. And it really feels stupid when then they proceed to put people from this very region outside of the US definition of Caucasian because what they mostly mean is racially from West Europe with excluding South-West Europe because those are just all "Hispanic" (~Spanish).
And I'm saying this as one which is quite bad at Geography…
@Amber That's for the windows installers but yeah, don't put shit on sourceforge, I'd rather add support for torrents or ipfs in gentoo and alpine package tools myself than see things continue to use sourceforge.
@Amber I guess it could make sense to figure out a way to do some mirroring for things like the AUR. (On gentoo there is mirroring for the official packages distfiles but there isn't for the community ones nor the third-party packages)
This is a possibility on Xfce and it was a disaster, I just never wanted icons, I got way too much stuff on my computer, icons are for useless computer like school ones.
@be@haskal I'll probably keep using a feature phone which doesn't gets firmware updates here.
Only data it has is data which was already transmitted. It can't store a lot of SMS so old ones get deleted. I don't have messaging apps but those tend to have even worse centralisation than the telephone network. It doesn't have internet, this is a feature.
@viennawriter@aral And I wouldn't be surprised that if they continue in the economic war logic, Ukraine is going to get blocked as well, which would be even more horrible.
@kline@coin Is that by inheritance of the "recognised language" definition? That BSL Bill seems to just be for things like official communications from the government.
