@lanodan it paves the way for improved access, once it's an official language then you have improved access to it in public services but it's likely going to require additional legal tooling before we're there. This has all come to a head in the age of Covid with many live public briefings not interpreted, so having to wait for secondary reporting

This only needs to be, for example, access to a trained interpreter at a medical appointment, rather than having your child relay your cancer diagnosis to you.
