The first book was a full-length novel, of which I read the last 80% this year.

The second book took about 10 minutes to read 😁

Hey @gomiboy75, thanks for the reply! Yes, I was aware of it - in fact, I already have an account there - but I ran out of space on my original post, and couldn't be bothered to write a follow-up! 😁

In honesty, I had forgotten the name of it until I asked the friend who introduced me to it originally. I've just got to get used to keeping it up to date.

Using the freedom-hating platform #Goodreads, I have learned that I have read more #books 📚 in the first five days of 2024 than I did during all of 2023. Admittedly, that's only two (yes, 2) books so far this year, but it's a good start to my #ReadingChallenge target of twelve.

The problem is that I have so many books on my reading list, it's difficult to know what to read next. And if any of my favoured authors releases a new book in a series I'm following, everything else gets dropped.

Started my day with a tea and a chapter of Holiness by JC Ryle.

It is so true that we need to learn patience, but in my defence I would say that I ordered this on the 27th December, my patience is wearing a tad thin, I clearly need to develop this a bit more.

@kevie This is exactly why we end up doing so many individual projects and never actually complete any of them! It's not because of our own impatience or inability to focus on one thing... it's logistics companies. All day long.
