@hector @dwmatiz @clacke The FreeBSD community is having a mini version of the sperg out the Linux community had over systemd over the possibility that OpenRC MAY replace the current innit in the future.
@ghosty Honestly the only two sticking points with FreeBSD that keep me from using it on a secondary box are the sub-par (compared to modern Linux) GPU drivers and lack of XFS support.

DolusAs much autistic screeching as it might generate, it's looking like Flatpak is shaping up to be the most sane DAD format out there, and probably WILL become the standard over Snap. I think people will get more comfortable with the idea of DADs when they realize they're not a threat to their repos (besides the AUR).

DolusTechnically speaking, running games in Wine+Gallium9 is more 'native' than a lot of ports we get under Linux. Feral, Aspyr and Valve all use DX-to-OpenGL wrappers for their ports. Gallium9, however, is a native D3D9 implementation for Mesa.
@cyberpotato Yes, Onlive failed. But this IS getting pushed more and more. What company in it's right mind wouldn't want to make the gaming market work just like netflix. And unlike Netflix, game streaming pretty much kills piracy. And normal fags are going to take the bait just as soon as someone can figure out how to present it the right way. https://gs.smuglo.li/attachment/455193
@skorpss As fare as free software for animation goes:
Simple stuff like short animations and pixle art animations can be done in Krita; for larger and more complex projects, you should look to Blender and OpenToonz.
