I'm not sure whether that job (under the lower pay scale we got in 2012-2013) comes with a pay cut. Wonder why $EMPLOYER is so messed up? Know-nothing, do-nothing folks in HQ → high pay; know-little, do-little, break-things contractors in HQ → even higher pay; field staff who do the actual work of the agency and fix what HQ folks break → nickel-and-dime on pay and expenses. #Your_tax_dollars_at_work -

We do need to make sure such documentation for !gnusocial and related things (such as #OStatus) is available elsewhere, too. -

Free Software is a preservation of the technical commons, not a pry-bar to gain leverage for Marxism."
Important point. Even non-Marxists benefit when #FLOSS dominates, as the market for web server software should teach us. We're all better off because NCSA, #Apache and other FLOSS servers kept Sun & Netscape and MSFT from cornering the market. -

It would be great to have at least one alternative kernel for GNU-based OSes, but it does not have to mean that #FSF / #GNU creates said kernel. -

So true. I visited the arclanguage dot org forum and it looks like about 20 semi-active users. -

Maybe some #nginx users would like to document how to make that work. Also, any decent host allows using subdomains, so !gnusocial should be installed in the root of the [sub]domain. -
