When I was 13 I went commercial fishing for salmon in the summer. The captain thought we should have pancakes 2-3 times a week.
Topped with a thick layer of peanutbutter, sliced bananas and drowned in real maple syrup from Québec.

On the one hand, my childhood sucked a bit, on the other I had from indian to ukrainian foster parents and plenty of chinese and greek on the side, so I got exposed to plenty of foods to keep me happy :-)

It's unusual for contabo to be down. I am in both munich and nuremberg for over a decade now with them. Is Dusseldorf one of their very new ones? They seem to be building out very quickly these days; maybe too quickly. I hope this is not a sign of the future with them :-(

@tilvids I really hope it's just that one DC. Contabo is the best deal I can find and I do check at least once a year to see if e.g. DO or Heisner are offering anything close. When people ask in fedi I always mention pricing and uptime.
I really hate installing a new server. I like to leave them fairly alone for years after I get them locked down.
I guess i could traceroute - they do have DCs all over the world these days.

But maybe cans themselves are different in hk. I was out fishing last summer and a man from india was staring confused at a tin with a key - I guess those aren't a thing at all over there.
