     I don't know how to pronounce Evangelion (e-VAN-gel LI-on? E-van-GEL-eyon?), and I didn't know what anime was when I watched two or three hours of Dragonball Z with a nephew one night.
     
     It was just a long fight. I lacked context to know who was fighting or why.

     I just realized there's a wonderful symmetry to this, because before I had heard anyone say "dandelion" I pronounced it in a way that rhymes with "Evangelion".
