When I lived in Kalmar in 1996-1997, I went to McDonald's and see a whole room of people eating Big Macs with a knife and fork. Sibylla was the "real" Swedish burger and weirdly, people eat that with hands.

I caused great consternation at a picnic at Kalmar Folkets Park by eating fried chicken with my hands.

At least I had the anthropological skill to detect to tear apart and dunk my Semla and not eat it like a hamburger, in which case the white filling will explode into your face.

An ad hominem attack would be of the form of "FSF's statement is invalid because they are associated with RMS"

But I wasn't refuting any argument by FSF. I just asked why they are still affiliating with RMS. Perhaps before you use impressive sounding Latin words you might make sure you understand what they mean? Just a suggestion.

I am basing my opinion of what RMS said condoning and excusing alleged child rape from the actual transcripts, and the MIT report.

There was OLPC Association which I worked for, and Foundation, which was totally opaque. There were a lot of big back end producers like Marvel, Chimei, & Microsoft, Red Hat. On the other end we only dealt with national governments, until the buy-two-get-one promotions led to a secondary market of self-started initiatives. Which was in intention from the start but outside folks started pressing for transparency and about that time they fired 60% of the FTE's including me.

I still don't know why we were fired, really, but I can say that I had directly challenged Nicolas at an all-staff meeting about the infiltration of Microsoft and closed-source and diversion of resources into porting Windows to the XO-1.

And that went over like a lead balloon. People who had been talking shit behind his back went silent & wouldn't meet my eyes. Awkward. lol. But me being me, inevitable. NN is a very intimidating individual. But so were my parents and grandparents.

The screen which also would hold and display an image with the cpu and everything else off. 2-9 watts of power. The transflective screen. The network social communication. ❤️

There was also a dark side, which I sensed but didn't know at the time, at least by one degree of separation, which was the Epstein corruption of MIT. 👹 🏛️
