Why would they pay any attention to an ad hominem attack based on misinformation and boosted by corporate open source for profit organisations?

But I wasn't refuting any argument by FSF. I just asked why they are still affiliating with RMS. Perhaps before you use impressive sounding Latin words you might make sure you understand what they mean? Just a suggestion.
I am basing my opinion of what RMS said condoning and excusing alleged child rape from the actual transcripts, and the MIT report.

FSFE haven't changed the name of the organization. What did they actually change, aside from virtue signaling?

Henry Edward Hardy (hhardy01@mastodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 03-Feb-2022 11:38:27 UTC Henry Edward Hardy "Software Freedom" In other words, FSFE are still promoting RMS self-aggrandizing, "'trust us with your copyrights, you can trust us, honest,' charismatic, authoritarian, entitled, misogynist, blaming rape victims, incel vision."
As someone who was briefly a volunteer sysadmin at the FSF office in Boston, I can say my impression was of a top-down, authoritarian, money and fundraising-driven organization devoted to a cult of personality of an odious person.
So done with that.
