I think i'd have an easier time using whatever VCS people already know, than trying to stuff "teaching git" into teaching a work-shop.

like, I already know (have used) cvs, svn (and svk!), mercurial, fossil, darcs, bazaar, and git (and git svn!).
i might have even used RCS at one company…

and I'd even have an easier time teaching most of those, compared to teaching git, which i have extensive knowledge of.

@kuba @jayrope you're logged in somewhere (GMail), that gives the initial clue. and then you use a website that uses Google Fonts, but no Google Analytics? You can still be correlated.
