@atomicpoet I have my suspicion that Twitter's people literally didn't know what they wanted to do, so Musk sent in a ninja to give direction to the project. I think it's too early to judge his objectives at this point.

When the centrally planned top-down OSI network architecture lost to simple "unprofessional" TCP/IP, and then tried to rewrite history to cast TCP/IP as an implementation of ISO stack.
@freakazoid I tend to glance at stuff if people post it here, but I'm pretty "leak dirt or gtfo" oriented. Typically stuff like rt *claims* to have dirt but fails to deliver while western papers just stick to fluff Opinion that might as well be a blog. More often than not it seems to be people on here or twitter pointing out useful leads.
@freakazoid I almost never read any of that trash. Pressure to corrupt means no significant size news media can ever have the interest of the reader first. It's basically pick your poison, whose propaganda do you prefer?
Still waiting to see the autistic person who was never vaccinated. There are enough antivaxxers by now that statistically this person should exist, right?
@thor lindy effect. Also anything really worth having on these platforms will be back ported via soft forks after it is 100% proven safe. A lot of projects are basically just subsidizing r&d for bitcoin.
@thor@Hyolobrika I forgot the name but there are these two services which like metamask and all major ETH wallets use, recently they started blocking Russian IPs...
@Hyolobrika@thor To a significant extent, yes. There aren't that many ETH full nodes out there because the amount of memory and processing is ENORMOUS.
