@shpuld yeah, but I think that you should really try to explain to some of them that using government is not the best way to help the poor or minorities, instead of calling them idiots.
@louis Then let's do a competition on writing OStatus implementation after the New Year. Let's see who does it faster. Nothing is off-limits, popularity is also a language feature.
@degeneracy @dolus >because you said so No, it's because like Islam or like conservatism, liberalism is a set of ideas. In this case, ideas related to individual rights and freedoms. If you do not advocate for these ideas, you are not a liberal. Period.
>liberalism is not found in nature, therefore its an unnatural mindset. if an animal species was liberal in nature, it would be extinct. period. Humans are a part of nature. Period.
>this isnt a "if you disagree with X, you must believe in Y" argument If you advocate against individual freedoms, you must advocate for something else.
@degeneracy @camedei707 >Cultural Marxists are degenerate moral relativists who belong to The Cult of Victimhood. >Cultural Marxists hate all taboos except for political correctness. The first two sentences, mate. They are talking about regressives, cultural marxists, but not liberals.
@degeneracy @camedei707 > faggot, you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. But I actually do. *All* liberals are about individualism. >resort to ad hominems Nope, what I said was that misuse of word "liberal" is very common among North Americans. >ED It's spot on in the sense that those people who call themselves liberal are actually illiberal.
It would serve good to everyone to not call them liberals. Because calling them that sounds as if they stand for individual rights. You should call them regressives because this is what they are. It exposes their disgusting authoritarian nature and also is a negative term, which they fucking deserve.
@camedei707 >These are the biggest products of your political alignment. No they are not. These are products of regressivism. These are products of collectivist thinking which I am absolutely opposed to.
