Yes! If they made the phone 50% thicker, they could have a user-replaceable battery of double the capacity.
Apple started the bullshit claims of not being able to use replaceable batteries in thin phones, yet Samsung at the time had thinner phones than iPhones and _with_ replaceable batteries. Apple wanted planned obsolescence. People should have called them more on their bullshit. I mean, they basically.were saying their phone designers weren't as smart as Samsung's. -
