Tech companies, please stop making things smaller and thinner, it's not 1998. We want longer battery life and our things to be repairable, instead of replaceable. If you can't think of any actual innovations, stop wasting resources!

Yes! If they made the phone 50% thicker, they could have a user-replaceable battery of double the capacity.
Apple started the bullshit claims of not being able to use replaceable batteries in thin phones, yet Samsung at the time had thinner phones than iPhones and _with_ replaceable batteries. Apple wanted planned obsolescence. People should have called them more on their bullshit.
