    My dad had a problem with fetching maps from his #Garmin GPS to the computer. "Easy enough" I thought.

    Wrong! 2 hours later and after following (I kid you not) reading 2 pages of instructions for _just_ installing a plugin on Internet Explorer (no other browser was supported) to detect the hardware, we got the message "The key has already been used" because he installed it on his old computer that has crashed.

    My parcel takes little over 24 hours to be transported 1000 km to the distribution terminal in my city. It has now taken one and a half day and it still hasn't been delivered the whopping distance of 0.4 km to my local post office. The mail works in mysterious ways...

    There was a news article about how students and teachers worry about the introduction of #e-lectures and how it will significantly lower the hours of teacher to student interaction.

    Yes, it can be used as a way for the university to cut some costs but another possibility, that the article never mentioned, is that it can also be used for more _quality_ time between the teachers and their students. e-lectures can free passive lecture time and let the teacher have more workshops where the student works actively.     However, when they poll people in the article, they put e-lectures and active learning against each other. Really poorly worded question.

    @mmn Two errors the same day? Seems like the police in #Sweden have similar problems. 116 police cars stopped due to software error that turns the car off at random.

    @mmn @atarifrosch Why would one want to use #Netflix ? I really don't get why everyone is talking about it. The only time I tried to use it at a friends house, it didn't have the movie I was looking for so I torrented it instead. Works everytime.
