@deavmi I strongly disagree. Immutability by default is great. If you mess up the compiler, or better yet Rust Analyzer, tells you immediately and just add mut if you need it.

@deavmi You don't need to figure it out if the compiler tells you exactly what you're doing wrong.

Rust makes it way easier to jump right into an unfamiliar topic and get something starting to work quickly than doing the same in C.
