     @lanodan @alexandra It baffles me when people are like "but open source has no support!" when in reality proprietary shit has no support and if you do get support on FOSS stuff it's generally from the people who made the thing and actually know wtf they're talking about.

     @be @alexandra As someone in the local hackerspace said "Talking directly to god rather than the angels" (I would change that last one to priests).
     
     Support with proprietary is with often very costy contracts, it doesn't comes with the basic price.
     Support with FOSS isn't great but worst case you can ask another unrelated dev if they can help you, this is nearly impossible to have with proprietary software.
