most people don't know how to use tech properly.

but more importantly, they don't *care* that they don't know how to use it properly.

if it just barely works, that's enough. why bother with the hassle of setting it up properly?

that's also why people use spreadsheets as databases. they're far easier to get going with.

instead of bitching that people aren't using databases, we should integrate spreadsheets with databases better. i don't see why a spreadsheet can't be backed by an SQL database. both use tables.

hm, i was apparently a member of the Norsk Rockforbund (Norwegian Rock Union) in 1994, because there's a membership card for it in the photo album, but i can't recall what that gave me access to.

@ZySoua i do too, but it will stop soon, and then i have to keep sending in forms to them every month.

@ZySoua and i don't want to have to send in forms. it's stupid. i can make my own decisions about what to do with my life. and i don't like doing nothing. so if they could just get it into their thick skulls that i will be productive if the government pays me, then it would be much easier.

but i'm not particularly loyal to my state.

@ZySoua recently i have walked around the streets of Oslo talking to the homeless people. they mostly want your money, which is fine, so i spent most of my money for the next two weeks on them.

but this does mean i'm a little short myself.

sometimes i'm tempted to just ask people flat out.
