Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Thursday, 28-May-2015 14:07:39 UTC Temporary Marjolein I just discovered #Agave - a little application to construct color schemes; it also comes with an eyedropper tool (which can be used to pick any pixel on the screen as 'base color'). Handy for web design! Available in !Debian repo, so installation took 6 keystrokes and two clicks :) #software #graphics -

If so, what's your experience with that? http://firehol.org/ Looks quite interesting to me !fediverse !fediverso !debian -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Wednesday, 01-Apr-2015 13:53:53 UTC Temporary Marjolein !linux !debian is there anything I can do to make debian recognize a brand-new USB3 thumb? It's recognized without a hitch on Dennis (LMDE) and not at all on Nikola (Deb Jessie); kernel used on Nikola is not teh latest (which doesn't work) but still newer than that on Dennis. #confuzzled #annoyed this doesn't make things easy... -

Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Monday, 16-Feb-2015 14:16:20 UTC Temporary Marjolein /me is #confuzzled: the already somewhat 'suspect' external drive (suspect because its twin sister died recently) caused File Manager (Thunar) to crash an hour or so ago - and it was remounted read-only. But fschk found nothing wrong, and after reboot it's mounted and writeable... So: more suspect even than it was. But what could have happened? Anyone? !debian !linux -

Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Wednesday, 27-Aug-2014 15:41:24 UTC Temporary Marjolein hmm, that's odd: I read something about Nagios (monitoring), mentioning version 4.0.1 had been released in October 2013; then I go and look it up in Synaptic and find !debian only has version 3.4.1 - does anyone know why it doesn't have the newer version?
