If I block a user, doesn't their status disappear? How can I hide a user status? !gnusocial
- @mcscx@quitter.se repeated this.
-
@denommus IMO this should be fixed at the server side. @hannes2peer blocking works in !qvitter but not in a client. @simsa01
-
@simsa01 yes, "qvitter" with v always refers to the new ui. Perhaps we should call it "qvitter ui"
-
@denommus on Andstatus, do the blocked posts appear in your personal timeline, or only in the public timeline? @hannes2peer
-
@hannes2peer IMO making #blocking work on the public TL is worth a bit of performance, because ppl expect blocking to "just work everywhere"
-
@denommus was it a post to a group that you are a member of? cc/ @hannes2peer.
-
@hannes2peer not my find, @hier just mentioned it https://quitter.se/notice/4321704. <sorry> Too bad I have no #time to check bug tracker :\

@denommus@quitter.se #AndStatus loads Public Timeline from a server on demand only. So you can easily check, if all cached data was really cleared, by opening the Public Timeline just after cleaning of AndStatus data.
"Force stop" AndStatus by Android Application Manager before the cleaning. Otherwise data may be blocked by background processes and not deleted.
