@simsa0 Implementing something like gstools.org to gnu.io/social would fix that problem. Many social problems can be fixed with tech’s help ;)

Stephen Sekula (steve@chirp.cooleysekula.net)'s status on Sunday, 28-Jun-2015 11:06:47 UTC Stephen Sekula @mmn@social.umeahackerspace.se Quick question: is the FacebookBridge plugin supposed to work? I ask because I tried it for the first time in a long time last night on my GS instance and it did not send posts to FB. Maybe FB's recent API changes screwed this up? Anyway, let me know the state of this plugin. -

Also: welcome to CET. -

vinzv (vinzv@gnusocial.de)'s status on Sunday, 28-Jun-2015 19:00:28 UTC vinzv @simsa0 I see and understand, what you mean. But in this special case I think my solution would at least help a big step forward. It doesn’t solve the social issue of dependency of the admins though, but as a starting point it would be good to point new users to.

vinzv (vinzv@gnusocial.de)'s status on Sunday, 28-Jun-2015 19:22:29 UTC vinzv @simsa0 gstools is curated automatically via a statistics plugin. So, this would be a reliable source.

vinzv (vinzv@gnusocial.de)'s status on Sunday, 28-Jun-2015 19:34:05 UTC vinzv @simsa0 The plugin itself is activated simply by one line in the config.php (sadly the development source is down)
