    @clacke That sounds more like something that liberals or libertarians would appreciate. Also, not all conservatives seek the American dream or root their conservatism in it. That sounds very American-centric to me.

    I prefer listening to artists that sing traditional and older music. I guess that would be country for the US. Classic as a genre is great for conservatives too. But even here, I don't expect conservatives to appreciate it all.

    @clacke Why should conservatives love her if they believe in conservative values? Does she sing about conservative values? I don't think anyone should have to love an artist even if they shared the same values though. Music is also a huge preference thing and it is okay to not prefer a music style or artist or even a particular song. I do like a few of her songs but I don't buy the idea that anyone has to love her or be a fan of her. Or even see her as a good role model. Fandom can also be quite divisive.

    @Moon Even worse, the system requires that there are poor and homeless people for there to be constant growth for the wealthy. It even preys upon the homeless with consumerism. Perhaps there can be no answer to homelessness because of this reason.

    @Leyonhjelm @Moon @mrsaturday Yeah, when it is provoked and makes sense, then I just leave people alone to sort that out between themselves. But if it is something completely unrelated to the drama and just someone saying hello to their followers and talking about their day normally then it makes no sense to me. FWIW, I always look for context in threads when making my own decisions. These things require careful consideration.
