   anti-homeless architecture exists precisely because there is no institutional answer to homelessness (because in many ways we are a joke of a country.) dealing with homelessness yourself as an individual or an organization is just trying to get by while dealing with its symptoms.

     @lain @Moon @sim You actually require homelessness to sustain a housing market. If everyone had a place to live then the market would stagnant. I’m s anarchy; market anarchy.

     The less people who have housing the more room for growth.

     @Moon Even worse, the system requires that there are poor and homeless people for there to be constant growth for the wealthy. It even preys upon the homeless with consumerism. Perhaps there can be no answer to homelessness because of this reason.

     @Moon i live right next to the first 'train station mission', a christian organization that helps anyone who's traveling or near the train station, including homeless people. I think this is real help. I get the same disgusted reaction from anti-homeless architecture as most other people, but when I ask myself what I have done for the homeless that live around my area, the answer is 'nothing'.

     @lain I am willing to bend on if it's a government's responsibility or what, but the solution needs to be systemic and not just rely on disorganized good will.
