Most of us have just gotten back from the conference and are trying to get our lives in order again. @sl007 is trying to get them up ASAP, and it sounds like it will be soon (and yes, it will be on Peertube).

It's good news that everyone is so excited that they can't wait to see the videos (the talk content IS good) but be patiently kind to the volunteers!

@cjd @kaniini @abby Could you elaborate on why? I have my own suspicion of your answer: for content-addressed content, I think they're probably often fine, but if it's a "varying bucket" full of content, it's easier to intentionally drop content from it.

BTW, for the mutable datashards component (which I think Pleroma probably wants for moveable actor profiles) my suspicion is that a gossip network may be more useful than a DHT for informing about updates. Not sure about immutable chunks tho

@kaniini We will need the help of Pleroma devs to help shape the final implementation. What's there has the core functionality, but there are some open decisions to be made to get it to the final form. I'm happy that Pleroma's devs have got on board... getting additional insight from actual implementers is exactly what we need.
