@lain that was a hit of nostalgia right there
Do people still use TZAG on the fediverse anymore?

So much for that promise I made to a friend that I'd get any amount of downtime whatsoever once I got back from this trip ;P (Yeah yeah, nobody's fault but my own, I guess.)
Time for me to prep for my presentation to Friam today about OcapPub

That's not a fun conclusion to come to, but it's serious; from the general public's perspective, the FSF and RMS are the hub of software freedom's key ideas.
Even if you feel it should be possible to separate RMS's personal views from the FSF, that's not the public perception.
It's difficult to see how the FSF can survive this latest issue without RMS stepping down (which I doubt he will voluntarily?) or backpedaling massively (which he definitely won't).
The last few years have also shown it won't be long until the next issue arises, either.
@MasseR @scolobb @emacsen Yes, and for now you'll need to read the "Spritely Magenc" and "Spritely Crystal" docs for a full overview. Those were renamed to "idsc" and "mdsc" respectively in Datashards, so you want to use "raco idsc" and "raco mdsc"

I could use help with redoing the docs to reflect the new names if someone is willing to volunteer.

Not just adopted; we improved them and made them ours. :blobcatcoffee: :blobcatsip: :ablobpride1: :ablobpride2: :blobpeek:
ok it took me 2h apparently :D
I do love that the fediverse refuses to let the android blob emoji die even after android decided to abandon them for a more boring emoji direction
@zenhack @alexl And yes, "blockchain" is sufficiently vague that I think any merkle tree applies
I frequently comment that "blockchain" is the "cloud" of merkle trees ;)
@zenhack @alexl Stellar has a blockchain https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019105171-What-is-Stellar-
@alexl Yes
Digicash: cryptocurrency, but not a blockchain
