after some reorganization I did a manual backup; still no idea what went wrong with the cron-jobbed backup last night, I just hope it works better tonight... meanwhile I'm still sleepy as a result of Friday night's sleeplessness, so I'll have a #coffee, and then get some fresh air running to the supermarket

@theru well, no, not for me - I try to limit my #coffee intake (now that I've started to drink coffee again!) to no more than one per day (on average); I still mostly drink #tea and want to keep it that way

@andresinmp The night was too short but I dove right in this morning after I got up. At least with a clear head - good thing too, since I'm running into problems - mostly solved (missing but optional modules that I'e now installed) but finally running into te same problem (at build time) that Debian's Darktable version was having at runtime. So now I'm looking if/how I can disable an option - which involves learning a bit of learning about how cmake works :-/ - compiling a non-trivial program is such fun! NOT. (I went through countless hoops with Hugin before). #coffee now, then continue trouble shooting, I think I can probably get it to work...

my hearing in my left ear came back last night, but is gone again as of morning. The question of the day is whether I try to get some work done, treating things as if I am well, or if I sleep, conserving energy for making supper and taking care of various things when Wendy gets home. No show tonight, but Wendy does have to work tomorrow. She's got scrubs for tomorrow though, so I don't think I'll need to do laundry. Maybe I can just go to bed after I make the ramen. Can't make decisions before coffee, but #coffee is part of the decision. #disturbing
