    @clacke tcl-lang.org is the new domain for most !tcltk sites because the .tk TLD is widely blocked. Which stinks, because tcl.tk was a good fit.

    * Cloud stuff (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP, IBM Cloud, CenturyLink Cloud)

    * Some of the NoSQL database technologies, such as Cassandra, Riak, MongoDB

    Note that a mention on the list above does not mean I will actively focus on learning that particular technology, just that it is one that has a potential of being a focal point.

    One good thing about starting out so broad and zooming in a bit is that I have a few courses I’ve already paid for that are already in the zone. I can utilize some of them to steer me into the direction that works best for me.

    If you’re a #Rustacean / #Rustacrucian, #Deno may be interesting simply because it is written in #Rust ... by the same person who started #Node.js.

    If you’re interested in !TclTk, then you may find #jsish interesting, because its internals are designed based on some of Tcl’s internals, and because it integrates the #Fossil #DVCS and can be updated using standard Fossil commands.

    Good morning and #TZAG. I’m almost finished with today’s #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ). Plans today include job searching, working on my toy project (part of learning #Lua; I’m also going to do another version of it to revive my !TclTk knowledge and possibly a 3rd version in another language), and removing some of the weeds growing in the yard.

    I also need to visit the stores to see whether TP supplies have come in.

    https://github.com/lehenbauer/tclspi !tcltk extension to access the !RasPi’s #SPI bus. In Tcl’2019, Day 3, someone did a LED lights demo with this (after a similar demo using !Arduino).

    Like other such demos, it gets boring quickly, but the point is to show the possibilities, and to provide a starting point for further learning.
