@sakrecoer I don't get it. We already support #OpenID (which UbuntuSSO uses) both as a provider and consumer. You can log in to !GNUsocial without a password if you use OpenID. Even create accounts if the admin allows it. It's weird to see someone throwing randow words around, promoting "modularity", using Twitter. cc: @hannes2peer
@sakrecoer Yeah, but what he wrote doesn't mean anything in any context. Maybe it's the plague of the 140 characters limiting his expression, but not even in the context of your post does what he wrote have any meaning.
@litox Yes. But since OpenID only provides an authentication mechanism it's only a means to avoid using passwords on third party sites. It's not in any way a "single profile", only "single sign-on".
Many OpenID consumers support web host metadata lookup, which understand the litox@lamatriz.org format, but if that doesn't work, use your profile URL: https://lamatriz.org/litox
@litox Try logging in to #OSMhttps://www.openstreetmap.org/login by clicking the OpenID symbol under the list of third party authentication providers and giving your ID in the text box.
