@morph @kevie and there's no way to do what Diaspora does? every new user is followed by an account called Diaspora HQ, which is the official account of Diaspora. Maybe it could be a "bridge" or something to "know" every contact in every instance :\

What would happened if I stop following him? it still "known" or not?

The instance won't forget about the profile, but it won't receive any new notices if all of that site's users have unsubscribed.

Which brings us to make a "worker" that just fills a (downloadable) table of all known ostatus users. We can then have a plugins for this to periodically download a list of all known users. I don't think it would be so lar…

@vinilox Yes, !gnusocial will accept mentions from anyone, regardless of subscription status as it is now.
