   Time for a short introduction. I grew up in Germany, have been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for two decades and now for more than a year in Osaka, Japan.

   I program for a living and still can't believe people pay me for what I would probably be doing anyway.

   When I'm not in front of a computer, I'm most likely taking pictures out somewhere or sitting in a cafe reading a book.

   Expect the occasional nerd content here, in addition to me boosting a multitude of cat photos.

     @clacke Yes! Osaka Castle is very pretty - I believe this one was rebuilt after the war at some point. It’s in a big park and in front of it it’s always very busy. This photo is the north side, which is less photogenic, but the lighting was irresistible. 😊

     I was at Osaka Castle just a few weeks ago when kid, kid's mom and I went to Universal Studios over the weekend! We had some light food on the terrace nearby overlooking the main entrance.
