     It wasn’t til I went to college that I learned I had the potential to be a video game addict. There was an arcade game called PHOENIX I loved in the common area… more than once I opted for rolls of quarters rather than food. #starvingstudent

     I thought growing up about 3 miles (5km) out of town was hardship; I think I only ever walked it once.

     I used to do my sister’s chores in exchange for use of her bicycle. Funny, I do more walking now than then.

     (Although I must admit to being seriously wimpy in the face of very cold weather this year.)

     Yes, we are definitely having a very cold winter this year. In recent years we’ve had ridiculously warm winter weather. Here in southern Ontario it hasn’t been uniformly wretchedly cold… we’ve had snow come and go twice. Looks like this lot is here for the duration.
