Okay, hold up, hahaha. I have just understood what’s happening.

The counterfeiting hooligans were happy about how they got new chemicals that improved their counterfeit ink -- even though they fail the currency testing pen thing instantly. Which is a problem no amount of great ink will solve.

And they mention going to a lab. Morbo wants the lab to synthesize... a cure? something? I guess a counterfeit ink lab is as good as a DNA-resequencing medical one for that.

Morbub gives an anatomy lesson as he breaks the bones in this guy’s hand.

He’s having a real hard time making up his mind about what comic book character he is.

Okay, so while he can’t dance by any objective measure, he’s supposedly had severe mobility issues and required a cane. So these are actually much better dance moves than I’d expect from someone who cann’t walk without assistance. Is this some mysterious bat-dancing power? Can bats dance?

Lucien is ordering an expensive drink from an impressively bearded bartender, before hitting on a woman completely unprepared for what "can I eat you out" entails.

Now he’s perched gargoyle-style, midway up a tall building, looking for victims. Down he jumps, with more weirdass smoke trailing behind him.

It’s like they overbudgeted CG and instead of putting the funds towards something else, said "just go wild."

The guy the lady Lucien is hitting on is with is none too happy about what’s going on.

Dr. Bronner is visiting the lab, which has crime scene tape up. But who’s this? Lucien!

This scene is Tense, so we’re back to shaky handheld camera.

Why is the lab a crime scene? Because they arrested Morbaby? Do other people work in this lab? Are they concerned that it has a glass cylinder of bats who have been going absolutely apeshit flying erratically for several days continuously?
