-make time for it
-remove all distractions
-get all other important tasks done before you start
-announce to everyone in your immediate social circle that you're doing the task
-take your meds
-put yourself on camera and have other people watch you to make sure that you're doing the task
-set a timer for you to do the task and mentally move all other things that come up to distract you to after the timer
-not have a bad brain day

Starting tasks is easy if you just make sure to do the one or two things I just listed!!!

Yesterday on Foundry VTT, people told me my microphone was way too loud, so I turned it down from 100% to 50%

Today on Zoom, people couldn't hear me at that same volume, so I turned it back up

I also enabled Zoom's automatic microphone level adjustment because I figured that's gonna help me not get too loud

So what did Zoom do? Turn my microphone down to 10% IN THE SYSTEM SETTINGS so people couldn't hear me at all anymore

We should have something like veganism but for media where you only consume fan fiction and avoid media by Disnep`, warner and universal

@Camel simply not giving a thing is not stealing it.
There are only very few services where you're forced to watch an ad before accessing the service/content. Mostly it's just interspersed with ad breaks here and there.
And there is no proof that advertising actualy works. At best, it's a very indirect and unreliable way of turning attention into money.
