As a hobbyist developer and professional system administrator who uses Git version control, I empathize with "Git is simply too hard". If I screw up my repo, I just nuke it and reclone. The fancy-pants theoretical subcommands are way beyond me.

It surprises me that I'm still following the development of Haiku. Aside from HP calculator firmware (which seems to be dead), this is probably the longest piece of software I've paid attention to.

@clacke @greypilgrim That reminds me when I was demonstrating RAID-5 with USB drives to students. I simulated a disk failure to show that the data was still available. When adding a new USB drive into the array, another drive in the array failed during resync!
