That’s a high legislative priority? That is the shtick of a bunch of gangsters. I suspect that they will proceed with impeaching the US Ambassador to Israel. That would be the most direct way they could act. Threatening to withhold FY2020 budget until State declared the Israeli ambassador persona non grata would be the other action. Not many tools but they’re big ones.

@dick_turpin Well, the determination was made due to things such as “exigent circumstances” and “survival of the federal government financially”. Apparently we are running into medieval-style problems of not having enough tax collectors to collect all the taxes.

@dick_turpin Work is declaring exigency as I found out late Friday. Our folks who normally work only 6-8 months per year apparently are being extended to a full 12 again. This shreds our collective bargaining agreement and makes our union look toothless.

The final order hasn’t come down yet but we’ve been told to start canceling all personal travel plans unless we wish to be fired. No Oggcamp for me...again...

Mind you, we *have* tried to buy it before. It was prime real estate in World War II and we did some basing there.
