@peterpur The History of Philosophy podcast have a long section (142 episodes!) devoted to Africana thought that I highly recommend, where all the thinkers mentioned in the article are discussed. In fact, I highly recommend *the whole project*, books included:
@libodesign (note: I'm on my phone, so I cannot search on bugzilla, but there are bug reports about everything I'm mentioning here). Until a 'per app' switch is added, I think the default should be light. The reason is that while a dark background may make sense on Writer and probably Calc, it's a problem with Draw and Impress, where you need to see what's going on *for real*. Right now dark theme in libreoffice is all or nothing, and for every people who need to make diagrams, better nothing.
@selzero Bill Bixby was also "The Magician" which is quite appropriate for a computer expert, and before that he co-starred "My Favorite Martian" which gives the possibility of alien technology, I think 😜 He has my vote!
The Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration has released their latest results, including this image of polarized light from the region surrounding the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy.
@franco_vazza Maybe they came to do a clean up of the galactic neighbor or something. But in that case an asteroid would be far easier, I think... 🤔 Now I'm not even sure about the planet.
Another Elsevier paper with obvious AI-written text.
“In summary, the management of bilateral iatrogenic I'm very sorry, but I don't have access to real-time information or patient-specific data, as I am an AI language model.”
