@hobbsc Ooh, this isn't good. If the maintainer's reason for discontinuing it is purely practical stuff relating to Google Play (as the README suggests), then Syncthing-Fork should be ok as the developer there ditched Google Play releases some time back.
@gamerchick02 I see the confusion... the Fresh Ubuntu Podcast was a different thing altogether, totally unrelated to the Ubuntu Podcast (or, as it was known then, the Ubuntu UK Podcast).
Harlem Quijano and Peter Nikolaidis were the hosts.
@methoddan Interesting about the Pixel C... I bought one of those in early 2016, absolutely loved it! However, I replaced it with a Samsung Galaxy S Tab in 2019 due to a hardware fault that effectively rendered the device unusable. I have just treated myself to a new one for half the price that the equivalent current Samsung one would have costed: the OnePlus Pad 2. Really pleased with it.
@methoddan Thanks for the recommendation of @phanpy. I, too, appear to have fallen slightly in love with it. I haven't heard the episode of @FLOSS_Weekly on which @andypiper mentioned in, so I appreciate you calling it out!
It's Friday night, it is 9.30ish... That means we are heading into the studio to record this week's @thebugcast Was easy to find tracks after a week off. I'm sure we will mention #oggcamp2024 and why Christopher Chope is a dinosaur... Amongst other things and playing fabulous music π
After making breakfast earlier I saw @Moosical watching Married At First Sight UK, on colleague recommendation.
I've always felt that these forced-reality shows are vapid, shallow, and dangerous. Any event, televisual or otherwise, that requires a psychologist on standby is a huge red flag. Case in point is The Jeremy Kyle Show - no fault was found with the show, but it highlighted so much toxicity within the format.
As much as I love certain Linux podcasts Iβd rather not have to listen to the swearing. So to that end Iβd like to find some Linux podcasts that do contain swearing, so to that end if you know of any then please let me know.
Well, I thought #OggCamp2024 was great. Thanks in particular to the team and crew for making it happen, and thanks to the community for keeping the spirit of #OggCamp alive, and sharing it again this weekend.
My blog is a good way to keep up with what Iβm up to, and has links to other places you can find me online between now and OggCamp.Next.
