   Getting my pi-star based Zumspot ready for portable for Jamboree on the Air this weekend. My dad was hospitalized and I'm stepping in to run the show. Not a huge leap. I'm a Scout leader and I was gonna be there anyway, but now I've got to be sure my stuff works.

   Which leads me to...I need to get on DMR and D-STAR more just so I remember how to make this stuff work. I've got D-STAR running, which is good! There is a JOTA reflector in case HF doesn't work out for us.

     I really did want to get an EchoLink or DMR or even D-STAR net running for the Fediverse crowd. But then I had the work drama and, ya know, semi-retired. Maybe I need to pick that up again and see what happens.

     Anyone here monitor any specific DMR talkgroups?

     @KC8JC No reason why we couldn't squat on TGIF 7337 though? Perhaps reach out to the TGIF admins about transferring ownership of it?

     @thelovebug Not a bad idea. I think the last time we tried a net the issue was time zone related. I’ll give it a think.

     Totally understand that. You're always going to get that regardless. I suppose one alternative is to hold two nets 12 hours apart 😁
