wakarimasen (wakarimasen@shitposter.club)'s status on Wednesday, 29-Mar-2017 16:48:34 UTC wakarimasen @dtluna @hfaust It is pretty much non-portable while at the same time rapidly replacing more and more vital parts of the user space, resulting in more software depending on systemd, resulting in less portable software in general. Add some questionable development decisions as well as the fact that development mostly happens at Red Hat, and you can see why it makes sense to think that the increasing dependency on systemd is a bad thing. -
wakarimasen (wakarimasen@shitposter.club)'s status on Wednesday, 29-Mar-2017 16:32:49 UTC wakarimasen @hfaust I personally don't see any issues in having systemd as an option - more options is always a good thing, even if I don't agree with some of them. -
