sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Jan-2015 17:58:34 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @marcus I think you only need to set the "scheme" to "https". But it's some time since I did that... -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Jan-2015 17:43:04 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @stigatle I have packaged Pumpa for Debian so could probably do the same for Yaics, but I guess OBS should do that more generally? -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Jan-2015 17:42:08 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @marcus Actually I don't think so, it just uses the port number to see if it needs to add an explicit port in the URL. But shouldn't hurt either way I guess :-) -

Picture to prove it :-) https://media.saz.im/u/sazius/m/mikko-hypponen/ -

sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Monday, 19-Jan-2015 16:58:26 UTC sazius on Mayfirst Good evening #fediverse! I was offline almost the whole weekend. What's up? It seems GNU Social has been getting a surge of Spanish users, is that right? -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Monday, 19-Jan-2015 10:47:06 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @hannes2peer I though for some time they were just enthusiastically agreeing. -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Saturday, 17-Jan-2015 15:21:58 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @jonkulp That's great! I had never heard about the program before this. -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Thursday, 15-Jan-2015 20:04:09 UTC sazius on Mayfirst We just shut down May First's Friendica server as planned. Sad, but it was hardly used at all anymore. https://friends.mayfirst.org/ -

sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Wednesday, 14-Jan-2015 20:06:38 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @jonkulp Just stumbled upon this music training software while reading Linux Voice and thought of you :-) No idea if it's any good or useful: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Solfege -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Wednesday, 14-Jan-2015 20:05:03 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @navigium @theru another point in their favour is that their CEO is the founding president of the FSFE, also I've met him at FSCONS where he explained how their system works (it's 100% free software :-) -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Wednesday, 14-Jan-2015 18:05:25 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @laurelrusswurm I was wondering the same recently. In these times it when we should work to avoid religious/ethnic strife reporting such stories would be important. In Finland it has been mentioned very marginally in some MSM web newspapers. -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Wednesday, 14-Jan-2015 16:07:00 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @drak I merely replied to the specific point that I don't believe they ever made a joke about the Holocaust. This is also goes to wider thing that they perhaps weren't "equal opportunity" jokers, they seemed to be more sensitive about mocking Jews than Islam. (Naturally they have the legal right to do so, and I defend that right.) -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Wednesday, 14-Jan-2015 16:02:49 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @drak You're completely right, and people often confuse this point: its one thing to have the legal right to write a thing, and another for a given magazine/web site/forum to publish it. I think everyone should have the right to deny the Holocaust or to make juvenile jokes about some religious figure, but I would never publish such views on my web site. -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Tuesday, 13-Jan-2015 20:26:26 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @stigatle I would have suggested something similar with ffmpeg, so I guess we're on the same track :-) -
sazius on Mayfirst (saziusmayfirst@social.mayfirst.org)'s status on Tuesday, 13-Jan-2015 19:12:24 UTC sazius on Mayfirst @hosh Speaking of that, I noticed this map on Twitter: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B7PL3UuCAAA8UHf.png:large - for some reason Israel's colour looks like "none" in there. I'm not sure, it's such a tiny map... -
