A woman is dead because of your politics, I hope you can find peace with the fact that said blood is on the hands of each and every one of you that enabled that to happen.
The fact that social justice advocates are actively defending a convicted felon whom is a foreign national that has illegally entered the country several times is basically why I have absolutely no respect for American "social justice"
You should not be able to work in a country while not following it's employment laws and criminal code. You should not be able to remain in a country if you have entered illegally. You should not be allowed back into a country if you were extradited.
None of these should be controversial statements. All of these should result in sanctions. None of them did, in the case of the assailant in that murder trial.

AnnahThere are many countries where it is very difficult to immigrate to, Australia comes to mind, but the US is not one of them if you have any real secondary education background at all. The reason that the illegal immigration debate exists is because the tech sector and California / SanFran in particular (but also Seattle and NYC to a lesser degree) like cheap labour they do not have to pay the state-mandated minimum wage to, and because the state does not hold these companies accountable for employing people illegally. The illegal immigrants make a convinent wedge topic, a bullseye for the disaffected working class the same businesses whom are so skeevy can use as a shield for criticism.
SocJus-style identity politics played out in the courtrooms of American justice, with fatal consequences for the victim that was slain by this man. I hope America is proud of itself, because by doing this, they are only going to give very credible and reasonable fuel to nationalists.
An affirmative defense should basically never get a not guilty verdict unless the prosecutor is a shit. And by saying the shooting was accidental, the accused was engaging in an affirmative defense. For those not quite as up to speed on what an "affirmative defense" means - it means you are admitting to the better part of what happened, but contending there was some mitigating factor. The most common affirmative defense is a plea of insanity. However in this case the defendant said the shooting was accidental. In pretty much every case, this would result in a reduced charge of manslaughter, rather than murder in the first or second degree. A politically-motivated jury however let the defendant off for what they openly have admitted ARE political reasons in statements made to the press, so by doing so, these individuals and those who support them are essentially openly advocating the killing of American citizens by illegal immigrants.
