@peterbutler @fivetonsflax @mekkaokereke what's crazy is that when I moved there from north Florida I was shocked that there weren't black people around. I kept thinking where is everyone?

@unlambda @peterbutler @fivetonsflax @mekkaokereke oh I know! We were out in the 495 loop. My son & his best friend were big wrestling fans. One Halloween, they were their fav wrestlers. My son was the Hurricane, & his friend showed up as Booker T in full blackface!

My kids were mortified & had to explain why he had to wash it off & how he could be his fav wrestler without black face.

Kid went on to be a military chaplian. Idk I think it may have been good that he was friends with my son.
