I’m just wondering how it compares to where I grew up — Louisville, KY. I would guess Louisville is just as racist or more so than Boston. Just my $0.02

@mekkaokereke @fivetonsflax I agree that there’s racism in the northern states, but I don’t agree there’s *as much* racism in the north compared to the south

I’m basing that on my own personal experience, of course. The most racism I’ve seen personally is around the Detroit area and those suburbs/exurbs, but Georgia feels much different (though I haven’t spent much time there)

@fivetonsflax @mekkaokereke Like most everywhere, it’s remarkably segregated, so it’s easy for white people to visit and not even see Black people … "what racism?”

And Boston perhaps deserves its bad rap, but also perhaps not to the extent that it’s been portrayed
