     @mcscx2 yea, I was watching ~6 auctions that week. I bid $117 last min. Then someone came in just under $90. So I won it at $90. Batt still holds a full charge too. #sometimesYouGetLucky

     @jonkulp BTW they are new enough that they have the 'swap ctrl/fn' option in the BIOS. I didn't have to hack on it like the x61.

     @jonkulp Woot! They make for a nice, tough, Linux rig. Plus, I'm getting 6+ hours out of the batt! I should have dumped my Dell v131 years ago. It was nothing but trouble. And the "9 hour" batt only ever lasted about 2.5h.

     @jonkulp @vinzv Nice. I bought this to replace my main (13") laptop. But, I can see its going to replace my EEE, and X61 as well. Its only a bit bigger then my EEE so its quite portable. And I used to use my x61 while the Dell was charging. But, at 6+ hours with this x201, its a all day machine for me.

     Don't want to get your hopes up. I think I just lucked out and got a good Batt. Then again, a brand new Batt for these things is only like $35.

     @cmhobbs But x200 is even cheaper to get and flashing libreboot is not too hard afaik. Maybe @marcus can tell you more about, he and his FSFE fellows from Switzerland offer libreboot flashing services. :)

     @cmhobbs Yes, but wifi needs nonfree firmware. So netinstall is not completely hassle free. I changed the wifi chipset to a freedom friendly one And now even Trisquel runs out of the box.

     @nybill I ordered a spare AC adapter for the laptop this morning too. I always like to keep a power cord for my laptop at the office so I don't have to unplug and replug and wrap the cord up hundreds of times a year. $6 on ebay well worth the money.

     @hammerron Lenovo's do make nice Linux rigs. I can't commnt on Fedora. I've only ever played around with it. And that was early 2000's. I was always been a Debian/Gnome guy. In recent years I've been using Arch.
