Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Monday, 27-Jul-2015 12:57:41 UTC Temporary Marjolein @mk FAIL. It was edible, but (for what I'm used to from Korean food) extraordinarily bland. #norepeat -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Monday, 27-Jul-2015 13:56:55 UTC Temporary Marjolein @morgenland alas, it wasn't. most positive I can say is it was edible. Well, it was an experiment! -
Tristan B. Kildaire (deavmi@quitter.se)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 05:45:55 UTC Tristan B. Kildaire @mk Create the !noodles group please Temporary Marjolein repeated this. -
Markus (morgenland@status.pirati.ca)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 06:02:54 UTC Markus @mk In my experience, Asian noodles are generally very different from the point of quality but also from the point of "cooking properly". I try very hard and found finally some suppliers that are good. I think you have to try on. ;-) Temporary Marjolein repeated this. -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 07:29:02 UTC Temporary Marjolein @morgenland I already have many brands that I know and like, but I like trying out new ones, too. -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 08:54:50 UTC Temporary Marjolein @deavmi as far as I'm aware it exists - unless it has disappeared somehow! -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 09:00:49 UTC Temporary Marjolein @deavmi well, I'll be... it seems to have disappeared - maybe it was on an instance that no longer exists. *off to re-create the group* -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 09:09:20 UTC Temporary Marjolein @morgenland @deavmi you can join the reincarnated !noodles group now! -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 13:41:51 UTC Temporary Marjolein @deavmi I don't see any blank post - yours or mine? -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 13:44:20 UTC Temporary Marjolein @deavmi it may need some time for the reference to trickle through to other instances? So on the first encounter AndStatus may not recognize it -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 13:53:12 UTC Temporary Marjolein @deavmi did you (try to) join the group? I don't see you there. -
@mcscx@quitter.se (mcscx@quitter.se)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 14:26:46 UTC @mcscx@quitter.se @mk @deavmi there's a sporadic issue of posts from other instances appearing blank on Quitter-se. We'll tell @hannes2peer after his vacation -
@mcscx@quitter.se (mcscx@quitter.se)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 14:27:43 UTC @mcscx@quitter.se @mk there is also a !ramen group somewhere. !noodles -
@mcscx@quitter.se (mcscx@quitter.se)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 14:32:15 UTC @mcscx@quitter.se @mk ... at least I thought there was a !ramen group. Actually just found the original !noodles group at gomertronic\.com/group/noodles -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 15:40:07 UTC Temporary Marjolein @deavmi oh, that looks indeed like a BLANK post! Could be an AndStatus quirk though. So did you try to join? You may need a browser for that. -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 15:43:31 UTC Temporary Marjolein @mcscx aha! if I go there, I get: The "requested URL /group/noodles was not found on this server", so it did indeed "disappear". I could not find any trace of it! But I never talk abaout 'ramen' (which is one specific type of !noodles) so I prefer the generic name anyway -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 15:44:07 UTC Temporary Marjolein @mcscx @morgenland and welcome to !noodles -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 16:44:03 UTC Temporary Marjolein @hannes2peer still odd, because I'm not seeing it, while Erkan's instance is running good old StatusNet (with some small tweaks). So I suspect there's a local<->federated effect in there as well. /cc @erkanyilmaz -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 17:20:27 UTC Temporary Marjolein @hannes2peer something like instances expecting different things from each other? API inconsistencies? -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 17:21:58 UTC Temporary Marjolein @mk btw one major reason why our instance hasn't switched to GS is we consider hierachical rendering of conversations essential. -
Temporary Marjolein (mk@oracle.skilledtests.com)'s status on Tuesday, 28-Jul-2015 19:09:51 UTC Temporary Marjolein @davehunt spaghetti (like ramen) is just one type of !noodles ;-) but no, this is about a type of #food, in all its glorious diversity. and #lunch. or #dinner. and Chinese supermarkets. etcetera. :D
